Primary Seven pupils, Ms French, Miss Gaffney and Mr Howie have put together a fantastic show for their Graduation Ceremony on Monday 24th June at 2pm in the School Hall. Many thanks to Cat Perry for Dance Choreography and to Lorna Irvine, Holly's mum, for fabulous poetry workshops. Lorna has helped pupils devise and perform their own poems for the show and do look out for special bunting, created by Lorna, of the year group's poem "Here". Thanks also to Mrs McVicker for musical input and accompaniment. All the pupils have impressed us so much with their sensational focus and co-operation and you are in for a treat!

JGHS Transition Day Festival at Meadowbank

A great way to make new friends for all the future S1 James Gillespie's High School pupils at the Transition Festival on Monday 17th June. Usually held at Meggetland, Meadowbank this year was a great arena for cricket, rugby, problem solving, athletics, dance, frisbee, badminton, tennis and even Sumo wrestling! Thank you to Mr Wallace, the Active Schools coaches and all the S6 helpers for organising.
